Automation by sensors: your home responds on its own.

Anything a sensor connected to your home reports can trigger something. You build it like a sentence: when something happens, if the conditions hold, then your home acts.

How it works

  1. WhenPick a sensor and what it should detect: motion, an opening, a temperature above a value.

  2. IfAdd conditions if you want: only at night, only on weekdays, only when the "Vacation" mode is on.

  3. ThenPick what happens: on, dim, a blind, an air conditioner. And, if you want, switch off by itself after a few minutes.

Common questions

Does any sensor work?

A sensor that reports a state to the hub, such as motion, an opening, temperature or a leak, can trigger an automation. We have not tested every model, so if you are not sure, send us your list before you buy.

The sensor reports all the time. Won't it trigger again and again?

No. The automation fires only when the value crosses the threshold you set, not on every report.
